Job Purpose: Minimise customer risk by gathering and analysing all relevant financial information to identify possible risks to the customer and suggesting mitigating actions accordingly
-Fully bilingual with excellent English proficiency
-Matric / Grade 12
-Financial Diploma or Degree
-3 to 5 years relevant Credit Management experience in business exposed to all financial facets and risks associated with trading
-Experience at a Managerial level advantageous
-Experience dealing with Credit Insurers will be an advantage
-Ability to identity all possible clients of company’s core products and strategic partners to understand the wider impact of actions taken within the business.
-Must have a good understanding of all cost implications and benefits of all company services and strategic partners.
-Ability to do basic sales presentation to clients utilising knowledge regarding products and services.
-Ability to assess / interpret on site with the debtor present and make decisions on site whether satisfied with risk or clarify any items in financial statements about uncertainty (clarify on site)
-Must understand claim payout process and time frames for the claim to be paid and be able to calculate payout amount.
-Must have good understanding of AFS and able to do assessment on basic level to advise on risk profile and highlight related strengths and weaknesses.

-Computer literate is MS Office
-Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (Must be willing to travel to Nelspruit a couple of times per month)

-Visit debtors to determine risk
-Visit stakeholders to ensure business continuity and up to date information regarding status: Debtors, Collection of debt, debtor visits, Attorneys, marketing meetings, strategic partner meetings, security negotiation, meetings with insurers.
-Identify actual and potential major issues during meetings regarding risk and report to Senior Credit Risk Manager.
-Determine intervention required in conjunction with Senior Credit Risk Manager.
-Report on matters being handled both inhouse and via Attorneys, liquidators, Business Rescue Practitioners etc.
-Assist with the recommendation for pre-legal action and credit insurance claims
-Identify potential new clients for all company products and strategic partners and request assistance to convert, if necessary
-Service clients and clearly identify risk issues in all spectrums of company’s service offering including strategic partners.
-Management of all aspects of the client’s account and monitoring of the account to ensure quality of service provided.
-Basic sales presentation to clients utilising knowledge regarding products and services.
-Obtain Annual Financial Statements / Management Accounts
-Assess / interpret on site with debtor present and make decision whether satisfied with risk or clarify any items in financial statements about uncertainty (clarify on site)
-Monitor impact on insurance policies
-Policy Management and Claims Processing
-Manage and report on debt recovery files
-Pre-Legal and Legal functions
-Business Rescue / Liquidations
-Produce monthly and ad hoc reports for clients.
-Assist with on the job training of Debt Recovery Specialists (DRS) and Credit Risk Assistants (CRA) as and when required to optimise the team.
-Marketing of company’s services
-Utilise M-Files for all operational duties
-Organising and Planning
-Do assessment on basic level to advise on risk profile and highlight related strengths and weaknesses.
Salary: R 30 000 – R 45 000 gross maximum (Depending on Credit Risk experience)
