REQUIREMENTS :
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Recommendation: A minimum of 1-year relevant experience.
Competencies: Good understanding of the following: Application of relevant legislation.
Working knowledge of systems.
Communication skills (verbally and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

DUTIES :
Acquisition and Demand: Register and capture information of suppliers on LOGIS.
Obtaining of quotations.
Placing of orders.
Maintain all databases (asset/ suppliers/ requisition).
Capturing of specifications and contracts on electronic purchasing system.
Render secretarial function to the Bid Committee.
Compile Bid documents.
Minute taking and typing.
Maintain a database of suppliers.
Assist with the tender correspond.
Request credit notes from suppliers when necessary.
Capturing invoices and creating payments.
Warehousing and Transit: Posting of relevant documentation on the LOGIS system.
Preparation of payment documentation and obtain credit notes.
Quality and quantity control.
